INSTRUCTIONS
Send your SP1 (Sailing Plan 1) report to agent 48 hours before
your arrival to the Dardanelles south entrance.
DARDANELLES PASSAGE:
RESTRICTIONS:
A SPECIAL PERMISSION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL TYPES OF VESSELS
OVER 299,9 METERS LOA.
PROSEDURE:
Please call Mehmetcik Control Station by VHF Channel 11, Prior
30 nm to Mehmetcik Light House, and ask for permission to
enter Dardanelles Strait.
When you get green light from the Control Station, call also
Mehmetcik Pilot by VHF Channel 71 advising your position and
stand by on VHF Channel 11/71 till entering the Dardanelles
and then switch to VHF Channel 13 till leaving the Dardanelles
Strait.
PILOT LADDER:
Please prepare pilot ladder on your stb side. If your vessel's
free-board exceeds more than 8 meters, please prepare a combination
ladder.
SANITARY BOAT:
For sanitary boat, please have ready at gangway;
- Copies
from tonnage, deratting, register certificates
- Two
copies of crew list and ship's stamp
BOSPHORUS PASSAGE:
RESTRICTIONS:
A SPECIAL PERMISSION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL TYPES OF VESSELS
OVER 299,9 METERS LOA DAYLIGHT PASSAGE RESTRICTION FOR TANKERS
OVER 200 METERS LOA.
PROSEDURE:
Please call Istanbul Control Station by VHF Channel 11, prior
30 nm to Haydarpasa Break Water, and advise your position
than proceed as per Control Station's instructions and stand
by on VHF Channel 11.
When you get instruction for entrance from the Istanbul Control
Station, call also Bosphorus Pilot by VHF Channel 71 advising
your position and stand by on VHF Channel 11/71 till entering
the strait and then switch to VHF Channel 12 till leaving
the strait.
Report yourself to Turkeli Control Station by VHF Channel
13 while passing Anadolu Light House.
PILOT LADDER :
